This is my first taste of Bordeaux (the city) at this time of year, and so far I find it surprisingly mild, relatively speaking, around midday at least, and especially when the sun shines. There have been some really bone-chilling, damp and foggy days here too, mind you, and we’re not even halfway through the winter season yet. Snow, I’ve been told, rarely falls in these parts of France.

Never mind the weather, a place should be enjoyed all year round. Here’s a selection of photos taken at random over the last month or so, mostly in December, a few were taken back in November.
